The RO membrane is one of the 4 filters of EdelWasser and represents the 3rd step of filtration. At this stage the water passes through the membrane, using pressurized force to seperate solvents found in the water, so contamints are removed. 
Water contaminants as pentavalent arsenic, barium, cadmium, selenium, radium 226/228, trivalent chromium, lead, nitrate/nitrite - are eliminated so you can enjoy fresh & clean drinking water.
